Tempeh Tacos
Perfectly seasoned tempeh chunks, fresh salsa, creamy avocado and a dollop of sour cream...this dish is a winner. These tacos are high in protein, super easy to make and oh so tasty.

Ingredients
200g (1 pack) of our Organic Tempeh
4 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
½ teaspoon chilli powder
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon cocoa powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 tomatoes
1 red onion
1 red pepper
Half a lime, squeezed
6 taco shells
1 avocado
100g sour cream
1 bunch spring onions
1 bunch of coriander
instructions
Tear the tempeh into about walnut-sized chunks. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add in the tempeh chunks and cook for around 3 minutes until slightly browned.
Add in the spices and salt and cook for another 5 minutes until a dark brown colour. Take off the heat.
To prepare the salsa, finely chop the tomatoes, red onion and red pepper and mix together in a bowl, along with the fresh lime juice.
Slice up the avocado.
Start compiling your tacos (don’t forget to include the sour cream!) and add coriander and spring onions to garnish.
